Confidentiality, Data Protection

The Client and Centroid undertake to maintain confidentiality vis-à-vis third parties about all trade secrets of the other party that become known to them during the term of the cooperation, during and after the termination of the cooperation.

In addition, the customer and Centroid also undertake to maintain confidentiality about other business processes and business transactions that become known to them during the term of the contract, regardless of whether these are trade secrets. Special non-disclosure agreements and legal regulations on the protection of secrets remain unaffected.

Any processing of the customer's personal data is carried out within the framework of contract processing in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the statutory data protection provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

The customer must comply with the relevant data protection regulations in accordance with the provisions in section 11.1. The customer will design the internal organization in his respective area of responsibility in such a way that it meets the requirements of data protection. If the customer independently uploads image material to the software, he is responsible for obtaining the declarations of consent for the use of the image material from persons recognizable in the images (e.g. his employees).
